Auto transport FAQ

Clear answers before you ship your vehicle.

How much does it cost to ship a car?

Pricing depends on route, distance, vehicle size and condition, open or enclosed service, season, timing and access at each location. Request a quote for current route-specific pricing.

Do you cover every state?

We serve the lower 48 contiguous states. This site does not advertise Alaska or Hawaii service.

Can you transport a car that does not run?

Non-running vehicle transport may be possible when disclosed in advance. The vehicle generally must roll, steer and brake, and winch service or special equipment may be required.

What is the difference between open and enclosed transport?

Open carriers are commonly used for standard vehicles. Enclosed carriers provide additional protection from road exposure and are often selected for collector, exotic and high-value cars.

Can I put belongings in the vehicle?

Ask your representative before pickup. Personal property can create safety, weight, insurance and carrier-policy issues.

How far ahead should I request transport?

As early as practical. More lead time can help with carrier scheduling, especially during busy seasons or on less-traveled routes.
